In a game featuring several yellow cards and some chippy play, the SMC Lady Corsairs held off LA Harbor College for a 1-0 victory.  Rosie Potts provided the only offense needed on the day late in the second half.  The Lady Corsairs relied heavily on their defense, lead by sweeper Vianca Barajas and on goalkeeper Cindy Godina.

The team hits the road on Friday to take on Oxnard College, followed by back-to-back home games next week.
